There is currently a rise in ‘lock snapping’ in the UK with some areas reporting a 27% increase in burglaries through this method.

Euro cylinder locks are most at risk of lock snapping. These are fitted to millions of properties throughout the UK which are usually on double glazed and UPVC doors.

What is lock snapping ?

Lock snapping is when force is applied to the cylinder which then snaps the lock in two. Leaving the locking mechanism exposed.
